The North American Class C Muster Association was formed in 1983 to provide a place for the smaller and more unique hand engines to compete and show what they could do. Since it's inception it has revived many an old fire company and brought out dozens of unique and rare pieces of antique hand operated fire equipment. The organization has sanctioned musters all up and down the east coast including New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland. The group traveled to Nebraska City, Nebraska in June of 1997 and Kearny, Nebraska in 2002. A return to Nebraska is planned for 2006.
